 An amazing traveling exhibition by Puerto Rican artist Reynaldo Rodriguez. This exhibition that explores the West African, the Caribbean and the Puerto Rican history of the BOMBA tradition on Chicago and others part of the United States, also each mural have This colorful exhibition features the art of the Artist Reynaldo "GuAracibo" Rodriguez accompanied by the sounds & rhythm of Afro-Caribbean drums and dances of Yoruba2 and member of the Community. The exhibition will bring 12 pieces from Reynaldo Rodriguez, in which he uses portraits from some of the most important "Bomberos" in our community to represent various aspects of our Bomba music (drumming, singing, Cua, Maraca, etc). An important element of the exhibit will be the connection with Bomberos from Puerto Rico and the United States. Caribbean Arts, Bomba y Plena in Hartford Performs

Busy busy all days since August 21 until August 23, Workshops and Conference. Two Workshops at Conventional Center,  one at Maria Sánchez and other at MELS School. AMAZING . Yoruba2 of PRIAA presented a series of workshops focused on Afro-Puerto Rico "Bomba, Plena, and Comparsas de vejigantes from Loiza and Ponce" in the Hartford Performs Arts Integration Conference in Hartford Convention Center from 8/21/12 - 8/23/12.  8:00a.m.-5:00p.m. The students were teachers and administrator of  different school around Connecticut.  Sponsored by: Hartford Performs of the Greater Hartford Arts Council, Inc. — in Hartford, CT. 1er Dia Nacional Puertorriqueño

Providence, Rhode Island: Los Puertorriqueños de Rhode Island se deben de sentir feliz, ya que el Comite de la Parada y Festival Puertorriqueño, efectuado el pasado Domingo 14 y el 1er dia nacional Puertorriqueño, celebrado ayer Sabado 21 de agosto 2010, fueron un éxito. Dos Actividades de dos domingos consecutivo y muy amena y familiar. Ambas llenaron las expectativas. MUCHOS BORICUA se congregan. FELICIDADES A Vivian del "Puerto Rican Parade" y Festival y Brenda Burgos del 1er dia Nacional Puertorriqueño. Ambas organizaciones hicieron tremenda labor y se vio la Puertorriqueñidad que existe en este Estado. Ahora a esperar por nuestro Parrandón en navidad. ESE SI QUE NO ME LO PIERDO.
