  Swansea, MA: El dia 6 de septiembre de 2013, se llevó a cabo el tan esperado evento "Puerto Rican Heritage Celebration Award" presentado por Latino Public Radio en reconocimiento a lo mejor de lo Nuestro. El evento fue realizado para reconocer la labor de grandes líderes Puertorriqueños que se han destacado en diferentes rubros: "Outstanding Achievement Awards", "Business, Law Enforcement", "Education", "Art/Music"  y "Community Outreach". Dos grandes premios de Excelencia tales como: "Enriqueta Díaz Award" y el "Latino Public Radio" Excellence Awards también fueron otorgados.  La expansión de" Latino Public Radio" es evidente, ya que hubo casa llena y delegaciones de audiencia de Massachusetts y New Berdford.
