DELEGACIóN DE RHODE ISLAND  (Rhode Island Delegation)   Nos fuimos con Doña Yaya... Miles y miles de personas, la mayoría Boricuas.  Casi todas vestidos con los colores de nuestra bandera.  Blanco, Rojo y azul con una sola estrella, en la gran Parada Nacional Puertorriqueña en la 5ta avenida de Nueva York. El estribillo que solo es un llamado y respuesta fue: Yo soy Boricua (llamado) pa' que tu lo sepas  (respuesta) DEDICADO AL PUEBLO DE GUAYANILLA Y AL ESTADO DE RHODE ISLAND, PA QUE TU LO SEPAS... PRIAA IN HARFORD PERFORMS, -2013, WORKSHOPS FOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The Founder and CEO of the Puerto Rican Institute for the Arts and Advocacy, Inc.(PRIAA), Lydia Perez will be presenting a series of workshops focused on Afro-Puerto Rico Bomba, Plena music and a mystical figures call Vejigantes in the Hartford Performs Arts Integration conference-2013 .  Lydia Perez  and members of Yoruba 2 will be conducted the workshop of  a full day of Professional Development . This is the second year in which Caribbean Arts Program participate in the conference, the reason, the teachers love the "Caribbean Arts program  from Rhode Island" and they want again the program in Connecticut.
