Puerto Rican Institute of Arts and Advocacy, Inc. State of Rhode Island PRESENTS: The Valleboom! This project arises from an initiative to exchange and merge the Vallenato rhythm of Colombia with the Bomba of Puerto Rico in our first exchange in the Cultural Heritage Center. The ValleBoom project! is an explosive project linking two genres of music between Puerto Rico and Colombia. The ValleyBoom! It is created with Artists chosen for their talents in different areas of teaching and learning. The purpose of this project is to link two communities in Rhode Island that for 2 year have exchanged traditions to bring the best of our people to our communities in RI. The Cultural Heritage Center is open to the public. Come celebrate HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH 2022, every Wednesday at our Valleboom Workshop! Starting September 1- December 30, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00pm We will have a promotional presentation at Pawtucket Main St. Downtown, on September 10, 2022, where we will be promoting the unification of two musical genres united by tradition.
