CONNECTING THE BEATS FROM COMMON FENCE MUSIC
Dance Jamestown, Rhode Island : CONNECTING THE BEATS: Lydia Perez, CEO of PRIAA and members of Yoruba 2, performed on November 30, 2012 for students from The Met School and members from the Community at the Jamestown Art Center in Jamestown, RI. Admission was free. This interactive concert of traditional Puerto Rican percussion and dance music is part of Common Fence Music's Connecting the Beats: Bringing African and Afro-Percussion Music to the Youth of Newport County.
